WalkAmerica 2007

Today, I participated in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica for the second year in a row. WalkAmerica began in 1970, and is the oldest plus one of the most popular walking events in the nation. My grandfather raised funds in my honor again this year as a member of the Alabama Power - Auburn Team. He also defended and regained his title as top walker this year by raising over $3,000. Happy Easter

Today I learned a lot about The Easter Story. I was taught all about the arrest, trial, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. My cousin Alex did a great job of reading the resurrection story to the entire congregation at church, and my other cousin Brad even reluctantly got up and wished us all a Happy Easter. So for those of you who were not in attendace with us today, let me do the same...

Springing Into Action

Well spring is finally here and I'm ready to go outside and play. I had so much fun playing in the yard at my cousin's birthday party a few weeks ago that I didn't want to leave. It's also time for us to start going out to the playground at daycare. YES!!! The outdoors just fascinates me (and yes I said fascinate). Maybe my mommy will get the hint and take me back to Hickory Dickory Park one day.

My 1st Christmas!!

Today I celebrated my very 1st Christmas. While all of the gifts under the tree were great and all, the best gift I received was sharing the day surrounded by my entire family. Now Santa you really hooked me up this year, but what I enjoyed most was all the joy and love I felt in the celebration of Jesus' birth. There were some who couldn't make it this year, but they were definitely there in spirit. I would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!
